Privacy Policy

Inka is a review automation service operated at inkauto.co.uk. It helps service businesses ask their customers for Google reviews after a job is completed. This policy explains what information Inka handles and how it is protected. You can reach us at alfiemacleod.142008@gmail.com.

Account information: your business name, contact name, login email and password.

Customer information you provide: the names, email addresses and job descriptions of your customers, so that review requests can be sent to them.

Engagement data: whether a review request email was sent, opened or clicked. This powers the statistics in your dashboard.

Google Calendar information (only if you choose to connect your calendar): the title, time and guest list of calendar events. This is used solely to detect appointments that have just finished and to identify the guest who should receive a review request.

When you connect Google Calendar, Inka requests read only access to your calendar events. We read recently finished events to find the customer (a guest who is not you) and start a review request for them. We do not modify your calendar, and we do not read events for any other purpose.

Inka’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except where required for security or to comply with the law.

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Sensitive credentials, including any email sending passwords and your Google authorisation token, are encrypted at rest using AES 256. Data is hosted with reputable providers (Vercel and Neon) and transmitted over encrypted connections.

We do not sell your data or your customers’ data. Information is shared only with the service providers that run the platform (for hosting, the database, and email delivery) strictly so the service can function.

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your dashboard, which revokes Inka’s access and deletes the stored authorisation token. You may also revoke access directly from your Google Account security settings.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at alfiemacleod.142008@gmail.com. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
